The Perfect Season!
PBA Varsity Boys Capture MML Championship, Finish 19-0!

The Poolesville fans do their part while the Varsity Boys show off their trophies for both winning the Antietam Division Regular Season title as well as the Class "A" Tournament Championship. The senior Falcons went 19-0 and became only the 5th undefeated Varsity Team in the 34-year Mid-Maryland League history.

Poolesville then lost to eventual champion Brunswick (# 2 seed) in the semi-finals.

PBA Varsity Boys Mid-Maryland League Class "A" Tournament-----------
Poolesville (# 1 seed) received a first-round bye, then beat Brunswick (# 4 seed) 41-39 in the semi-finals.
Poolesville then beat Oakdale (# 2 seed) to capture the Mid-Maryland League Class "A" title.
The Varsity Boys finish 19-0 with the first Mid-Maryland Boys League title in Poolesville history.

PBA JV Girls Mid-Maryland League Antietam Tournament---------------------
Poolesville (# 2 seed) beat Winters Mill (# 7) 27-20 in Playoff Round # 1.
Poolesville (#2) beat Walkersville (#6) 19-12 in the Tournament Semi-Finals.
The JV Girls lost to South Carroll in the Piedmont Tournament Championship game. They complete their season with a 12-7 final record. Great job!

Meet the Mid-Maryland League Antietam/Piedmont Division League Champions!
From left: Sahara Saasta, Laura Graham, Lori Defnet, Holly Chittenden, Abbe Guertin, Katelyn Keese, Rachael Dill, Mary Beliveau, Coach Tim Harris, Kelly Rosenberg, Brittney Bonnefond, Rachel Davis, Karissa Harris, Emily Lowman, and Coach Jack Rosenberg.

 

 2004-2005 Playoff and Season Wrap-up 

The Varsity Boys narrowly lost to St. Johns, 36-34, in overtime in the Championship Game of the Mid-Maryland League "A" Tournament in front of a packed house at PHS. The Varsity Boys beat both West Frderick and Windsor Knolls during the Sugarloaf Shootout in December and took down Brunswick and Oakdale in their march to the Championship game.

Although the Varsity Girls fell in their playoff opener, they nonetheless marched their way through the Mid-Maryland League regular season and Holiday Tournament and finished with an outstanding 16-8 record.

The JV Boys beat Brunswick in their playoff opener but fell to Oakdale in the Final Four. They ended the regular season on a 9-3 roll and finished with a 13-7 record and high hopes for next season.

The JV Girls Won the Mid-Maryland Antietam/Piedmont Tournament Championship! After losing their first three games of the season, the JV Girls went 15-5 the rest of the way including a 11-3 run in January and February. They finished 15-8 on the year.

The Rising Star Boys won their first round playoff game but lost in the round of 32. They finished their season with an outstanding 8-4 record.

The Rising Star Girls won their first playoff game but lost in the Sweet 16 round. They ended the season winning four out of their last 6 games and finished 6-6 overall.
