The Perfect
Season!
PBA Varsity Boys Capture MML Championship,
Finish 19-0!

The Poolesville fans do their part while the Varsity Boys show off their trophies for both winning the Antietam Division Regular Season title as well as the Class "A" Tournament Championship. The senior Falcons went 19-0 and became only the 5th undefeated Varsity Team in the 34-year Mid-Maryland League history.

League Class "A" Tournament-----------
Poolesville (# 6 seed) upset Glenwood (# 3 seed) 43-39 in
first round action.
Poolesville then lost to eventual champion Brunswick (# 2 seed) in the
semi-finals.
The PBA JV Boys finish the season with an overall 9-11 record.
PBA Varsity Boys Mid-Maryland
League Class "A" Tournament-----------
Poolesville (# 1 seed) received a first-round bye, then
beat Brunswick (# 4 seed) 41-39 in the semi-finals.
Poolesville then beat Oakdale (# 2 seed) to capture the Mid-Maryland
League Class "A" title.
The Varsity Boys finish 19-0 with the first
Mid-Maryland Boys League title in Poolesville history.
PBA JV Girls Mid-Maryland
League Antietam Tournament---------------------
Poolesville (# 2 seed) beat Winters Mill (# 7) 27-20 in
Playoff Round # 1.
Poolesville (#2) beat Walkersville (#6) 19-12 in the Tournament
Semi-Finals.
The JV Girls lost to South Carroll in the Piedmont
Tournament Championship game. They complete their season with a 12-7 final
record. Great job!

Girls Mid-Maryland League Antietam Tournament---------------
Poolesville (# 3 seed) beat Winters Mill (# 6) 32-30 in Playoff Round # 1.
The Varsity Girls lost on Sunday in the semi-finals against Middletown (#
2) by a final score of 27-21. They complete their season with a 8-9 final
record.
